On my roadster project I'm running a 324 Olds, '56. Anybody know if there is a mechanical fuel pump available that doesn't have the attached vacuum pump? I'd like a simple pump with just the fuel pump function.

There's a glass bowl option or a plan version with no glass bowl- half
The cars systems were vacuum controlled so I have not seen any other option but you could try canter or USA parts supply online catalogs. I have seen some were someone just took the top half off. You may have to make a cover or block off.

    Good luck

Thanks! I'll pull the top off and see if I can alter the stock pump.

On most cars the vacuum pump was an extra cost option. You should be able to buy a new or rebuilt pump without the vacuum pump.
