Thanks HAMB - A Rant

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by LittleBritishCar, Jul 4, 2013.

  1. LBCs are my first love! I have had a 56 MGA for the past 39 years. It sits in pieces on a shelf in my back shed, probably never will get put back together by me.

  3. Get the old truck and you can not only have fun driving it, but it is useful to complete your MG project.

Drop a sweet high torque electric drivetrain in that baby and embarrass the hell out of a few tough asses at the lights.

The problem with most electric cars that come out is they are so damn ugly and stupid looking. That would make a nice little electric car. But I'd only do it if the stock drivetrain and electronics really is all that troublesome as some on here have suggested. If it is good and reliable as is, should just leave it alone.

Haha, Metalshapes holiday BBQ action must be rolling good today. :D

Yes, yes, you're right of course. The V8 option would more fun to drive for sure, even if you didn't win it down at the line.

I am happy to report that I sold both of my MGs over the weekend so I will be in the market for a truck very soon! :)
