Sunshine, great food, great people, great live music, nice variety of cars. Jeff is one of the nicest, most genuine, egoless people you'll meet. Still has way too much hair to really be 50, though...

Liked the interior in this A tudor, don't know the owner.

Congrats Mr. Norwell! Your bash appears to outshine the Waterdown/Rocton event as of late! Maybe you should toss this gig every year! You could be the next Mr. Plunkett! lol

Warmest birthday wishes Jeff, thanx for sharing your event. Some of my observations, Cindy is beautiful as ever, nice studded/jeweled belt on the gal in the food line pix, the Olds coupe reminds me of my 49 that I cry myself to sleep often when I miss it, lottsa amazing iron, great outfits on The Millwinders and great vintage instruments as well, and a gorgeous gal on doghouse bass, smile on your face, priceless. Rock on brother, ~sololobo~

  12. A few of us were talking about that. We're just going to start showing up every Friday night. Eventually Jeff will break down and get used to it. :D

Really though, with the property he has, we could just hang out in the back corner behind the gazebo and he wouldn't even notice us.

Simply outstanding that it was taken and has survived. What a piece of Canadian Hot Rod history.

  28. That picture was originally taken by a photographer from the Star weekly magazine, and was the center spread photo in the magazine, to accompany an article on Hot Rodding in Canada circa 1957. My dad (4th from l/s in picture #3-Piston Pushers) got a proof copy from his Aunt, who worked for the magazine for many years. She is still active and still driving, at 90+. :)

Jeff, Dal told me to pass along a belated Happy B-day as well.
