History longest you have owned one classic/rod?

My corvette.....40 years and 1 week today.

 

Nice looking car....love those 56 ford customlines.

 

My dad bought the 56' in about 1978 and I bought it from in in 1983.

 

Not mine, but yesterday I met an 85 year old rodder who bought this 39 Ford in 1948, and chopped and channeled it in 51. He has owned it and driven it for 65 years.
That's him in the middle talking to some fans of his car.

I bought my 1939 chevy truck in 1974,the 63 nova in 1981,the 1940 chevy truck in 1988.The 40 is in my avatar

 

had our corvette since 82 and my olds since 90.

 

I have had my 52 Chevy for 14 years or so.

 

Bought my 1970 Chevelle convertible new June 19, 1970, when I was 19 years old. It's out in the garage, 43 years later. Will be driving it to Mo-Kan from Pa. in August, wish it had AC...

 

since 65.........

 

my 1969 superbee ,i have owned and drivin hard since 1979 , this roadster took 3 years to build driving the hell out of it now ,I take the bee to shows if chance of rain or roadster if nice out

This Fairlane for 20 yrs.

 

1956 Ford Customline. Since 1984. Sold it last May.

I bought my Rambler in 1991 with corn detassling money. I was 13. I'm 35 now.

 

I bought this henry J in August 1967 and drove it until Oct 67 It is now back on the road, I took it out and drove around the roads that I drove on in 67 Memory trip

 

I bought my first car a 39 Deluxe Ford Coupe in 1974 drove it for years, sold it in 2001. My 48 Olds conv I bought in 1996 finished it in 2001, and still have that one

 

I,ve had my T-BUCKET since 1968 when I was 14 and I,am 59 now. gonna give it to some kid one day.

have my chevy since 1984 put over 80,000 miles on it have my 58 ford since 1988 put over 100,000 on it

 

I've had a junker for 50 years.......

 

I have owned my 1934 Buick coupe 40 years. Haven't driven it yet.

 

I have had the Chevelle in my avatar since 1979. I traded a V/8 Vega conversion kit for it as a rolling chassis and no paint.

 

Had my 65 fastback since I was 14... pulled it out of a field and got it on the road by time I was 16. Love my hot rods, but this car I will never part with. My three kids, some day they can fight over it.

 

Had my truck since 1986 or 7. Drove it in all it's pea-green splendor for two years, then did this.

 

Got my 37 Willys in 77 when i turned 18,pic is in 80 with new paint.It now sits next to my rpu waiting for a tickle up.JW

 

I had my 64' about 7 years now,I think that's the longest for me.

 

Have had my 66 chevy farm truck for 7 years and my 64 farm truck I just got last year.

 

47 years

I bought a 1934 Ford pickup in 1980 it is still in pieces .I have owned my 39 Chevy Coupe since 1983 .
