Burning Hell 55 Chevy

I'm looking for photos or info on the location of a 1955 Chevy called "Burning Hell." My friend and his father owned it in the 90's and sold it on to someone in the SFV.

I know it was red, owned by two brothers, may of been an AWB car, raced at Lions with a SBC on fuel.

You sure it wasn't blue, and called "Blown Hell"?

 

100% sure it wasn't the Blown Hell car.

From what I was told the frame was a hack job.

 

Update. The car was called, "Red Hell." It was sold off again and last known to be in the SFV in 2007. It wasn't an AWB car, but did match race the Blown Hell car. The frame was front and rear Z'd to lower the car at some point in time.

F/G frt one piece....F/G doors F/G trunk lid...frame heavy Z up frt only

engine set back...driver almost in rear seat area........some welding was good some not.....injected sbchevy on hydrazine nitro mixture.......

story i got was at lions the jumper cables where thrown back into the towtruck bed causing sparks setting a fire blowing up the nitro/hydrazine cans...&owners where asked to leave lions.............

 

By the way, me and the boy two doors down when I was growing up, both had Moon Wagons, I still have a scar on my right ring finger from a wipe out in mine. Ours got swiped out of the front yard, and later was found/identified by some special fasteners my dad had repaired/rebuilt it with.

 

we still have the engine....was completly rebuilt before we got it...

took apart to check had pinced the oil rings on one clyinder...2 mismatched rockers hitting valve springs....alum rods m/t....

 

I had a Moon Wagon as a kid also. I loved it. I've seen a few on Ebay, just too much.

The car was sold to a guy named Tom, a member of the Eagle Rockin Rodders.

 

the car was candy red with gold leaf lettering

while he was on vacation from his paint body shop his crew ''suprised'' the original owner by repainting it ....was never as nice since ...ray the owner lost interest in the car&his brother moved outtown....it was towed with a pontiac safaria wagon...
