Long time lurker, first time poster. I was visiting a photo-blog site that I enjoy and came across the below photo...I HAVE to know more about this car, it speaks to me. I know it's a shot in the dark, but does anyone have any info on this car? The caption (from the site) says - Phoenix in 1953. "Photographs show teenagers, mostly male, participating in the Maricopa County, Arizona, programs for teenage delinquent drivers. Includes boys working at Juvenile Farm; teens attending Attitude School; policeman with boys and their hot rods; teens driving on Phoenix streets." Photo by Earl Theisen for the Look magazine assignment "How to Tame Teenage Drivers."
Somebody zoom in on the front frame in the above pic. It seems it might be the Sefton car in the other thread. Rear ride height is correct. and some roll bar similarities....but that kick is not a normal thing...it may be the key
Long time lurker and first time post is an introduction kinda. it is a cool car he is trying to get information about
Long time loika, foist time postah! I don't know but it said its from phoenix 1953, maybe check in at the history of Phoenix thread..
I think I'd rather see the guy post without an intro than see the people that have been here a while be an ass for no reason.
I've never done an intro and I have been posting here for 7 years. I'm not using my right name either. When did you hoodlums go all Emily Post?
Not so sure it was a street car. I don't see headlights and either no radiator or a really narrow one.
I did my intro on my 10,000th post. so many people here think it was so important I felt I should not do it until I knew what the site was all about. I wanted to be sure i was going to hang around for a while.
Need some more opinions on those very unusual front frame horns; you can barely see them in the first pic on page one, right at the cop and drivers knee-level.
