Racing Roadster and Track ID

A friend is trying to identify the race track this photo was taken at. It is a picture of his uncle who raced roadsters and sprintcars in the Indiana, Ohio and Illinois area from the late 30's up to the late 50's.

He thought it was the old Jungle Park in Indiana track but from what I have seen of the present day layout it doesn't appear to me that is correct.

 

That's Mt. Lawn (just west of New Castle), IN. That would be a Mutual Racing Association event. Off hand I can't get a handle on the car but that looks like one of the Joe Walls' Hudsons chasing.

 

Thanks, after looking at it again, before posting in the sprintcar thread it dawn on me that it looked like the backstrench at Mt. Lawn.
