searching high and low and ill be damned if i cant find one. all i need is one went to the local pick a part and someone had taken the entire rocker off the only falcon and the other were non adjustable, so just short of buying the entire rocker assembly, does anyone, anywhere, sell the adjustable rocker to pushrod bolt, the one thats in a red circle. anyone? thank you very much. its for a 144 six cylinder
ive tried, said they didnt have it. even the dude was surprised. checked Macs, Falcon parts, Classic inlines, even epay
man....sure looks like a Y-block part as well - need to check some Ford parts book.... Hey - have you tried over at "The Ford Barn " forum ?
I still have faith in RockAuto, its been awhile since they've surprised me by not having something I needed.
And also invest a call to "Old Car Parts Northwest", no cerainity, but he's got several containers filled with the good stuff.
tried and they dont have it either, surprized to. ill try your other idea. ford barn didnt have much but im still looking there
Have you tried Kanter or these guys http://www.antiquecarsite.net/Antiq...ntique-Automotive-Rocker-Arms-and-Parts#prods
Here's what I think would be prudent for anyone who plans to keep their old car: Just locate an entire assembly with the adjustable screws, then buy the whole thing. Use one screw. Keep the rest around for spare parts. Easy-peasy. Don't mean to sound flippant, but you're most likely making it harder on yourself by trying to locate one single adjusting screw. Just trying to give you some sound advice here. You're dealing with 50-year old stuff here.
plans are in the works for replacing the engine anyway, so long as it works for the next year or so ill be happy
