Had my Impala for a little while now. It's a fun car to bang around it, but it's kind of to new.... so, going to sell it.

A buddy offered me up a 1954 Plymouth Savoy. It's been a couple of years since I've seen it, but I recall it being complete. And except for the paint, stock.

    Yep, 6 banger & 3 spd, 6 vlt (+ ground)...

I like it because it's different.

We are going out this Sunday and checking it out.

I guess it's going to depend upon how intact it is... He assures me, that a battery is all we are going to need.

    We will see.

thinking of keeping the 6 banger...
    add intake & header(s)
Basic black (now white with blue flames - spray bomb job).

Nothing wrong with a Plymouth Savory. I almost traded my 49 for one years ago. It's got good lines and isn't something that's easily confused with any other models.
I believe Johnny Cash was quite a fan of em too.

it was pretty solid, but had more issues than I want to take on... at least right now.
Found out he has 2 54 Ford Customlines too. They are a take 2 make 1 kind of deal. One is rusty and complete, the other is solid and not (complete)...

going to look at them soon.
(I am not a brand loyalist)
so it doesn't really matter to me, but I like the lines of the 50's cars...
