Ed Weird and all who have lost some one in the last six months, I also have lost someone that was very special. My wife passed so fast I did not have a chance to use the HAMB Chapel. We had been married 32 year and love her for all the life in my body. I can never replace her. I also lost a friend in Tucson my darling friend Cindy (please check the thread that was about her). I was the author of that thread. There are many other that were important to me an my HAMB buddies who also lost some one very special. In that conside PowerWagonManiac1 (I think) and MisterModelT - Chris had lost his fater in Oct 2011 (excuse if date is off) and MrModelT was also very close to Chris's father. Every one has had to live through this but just remember that they are no longer suffering. I myself have COPD and Rheumatoid Arthritis - either one could end my life in the ext several years. If you loose someone who is special try to do something each day in their memory. I truly will miss the two very special ladies in my life - I may end up joining them sooner than I think. Sorry for your loss. I always admired my dad for the things he could do. What he didn't know, he would read about & teach himself. I never got along with him, but I do miss him.
My deepest sympathy I lost my Dad and Best Friend 13 years ago.I use to think of all the things He's missing Family Things but one Day I figure out He's not gone He Lives thro Me and My Kids and Their Kids and so on.So He's not gone He's just in two places Here and in Heaven and when it's My turn to go I will be back with Him and the rest of My Family and I will Live on in two Places and Life keeps on going.I hope this Helped I know it did Me
My Dad died when I was only 5 weeks old so I never knew him. All I have ever had is a picture or two of him . As bad as it is for you now , you are one of the lucky ones ...to have spent time with your Dad , to know the sound of his voice, to have him as pal . Cherish the memories.

My wife's Mother passed away a few years ago and as we were driving home from the funeral she said something that hit hard. She said, "Both my parents are gone now: I'm an orphan." Being an only child with both my parents gone too, ........ that has stuck with me for a long time. Like you, I loved my Dad. He truly was my Hero. He might not have taught me everything I know, but he sure as hell showed me what a good person is. His life was devoted to my Mother and me. I think your Dad did the same. It hurts, but he's worth the pain. My heartfelt condolences Ed.
I miss mine everyday, so sorry for you having to go through it. You'll think of him everyday I do mine.

Hi Ed, I, too, am sorry to learn of your loss of your Father. Both my parents are gone, my Dad first more than 20 years ago. Loosing our parents is a real milestone in our lives. My sincere condolences to you and your family and friends. Ray
This is a sad thing for you. I lost my Dad in 1951 and I still think of him, a lot. It does get easier but it does not go away.,; fortunately.

Lost my Dad in 1988. He was a huge influence in my life who I think of often. Cherish the memories. They can always be with you.
