I am running 265 / 75 x 15's on the back of my '40 Coupe. They are mounted on 8" wide rims and are 30" tall when inflated! great look, ride and traction! I had to use 2" wider fenders for adaquate clearence.

Damn, I'd trade that Cleveland for a (good) flathead in a heartbeat. :D

When I was a kid in Fremont, Ca in the mid 60's this would have been the baddest car on the streets. Awesome!

245/60R15 (26.3" tall) front and 255/70R15 (29" tall) on the rear. Fronts clear no problem, though I did have the heat and bend the steering arms and would have been better off going with 225/65R15's, and I have about 1.25" clearance inside and .75" clearance outside on the rear.

My swap meet special wheels are E-T spokes that someone carefully polished off all the dark centers on. They are 15"x8.5" rear with 10"x15"x30" Hurst slicks, and 5.5"x14" fronts, with 185-75-14 tires.

Never figured my ride was H.A.M.B. worthy so never posted any pictures but running M&S 165R15 86S on the front and MT Sportsman Pro 33x19.50 15LT on the rear.

Maybe not what is cool right now but it's the look I've always liked.

The magnesiums and pie crusts will be going on eventually to change it up a bit.
