V-Gate HELP!!!

ok, so I know I'm getting old and can't remember stuff but this is driving me nuts. I'm trying to use an old Mr. Gasket V-gate on my M-22 Muncie. I can't remember which lever on the trans is for 1st to 2nd or which lever on the shifter is for 1st to 2nd either...getting the rest of it is a no brainer but I can't even get started......

 

Hold the shifter, pull up on the release T-handle and push forward. Note which trans arm moves. That will be the 1-2 shift. If my memory serves me. I had one back in the '70's.

 

That's the problem.......it's apart and I'm trying to remember which lever does what......

 

Yeah I think the outside lever is first and second but I can't remember if the front lever on the trans is for 1 and 2 or 3 and 4....

 

Rear lever (on side cover) 1-2, front 3-4.
