Customs *Severely Chopped 55 Chevy*

I don't think that is one of those 'glass '55s..

A. It doesn't have those stupid ass fiberglass mirrors that all the Bohannon cars have
B. It doesn't have leather interior like all the Bohannon cars have. See the stock door panels?
C. Suicide doors?
D. No billet wheels? They obviously come standard on the Bohannon cars!
E. Last but not least... SNOW! Who drives their car in snow!

 

Looks like it's chopped more than the Bohannon cars. 1 - 1 1/2 inches more would be my guess.

 

This car was in a Movie - that is a still from that movie - there was a thread about it on here a while back

 

The other thread asnswers all these questins. i love this car...

 

OUCH!!! never could I do that to a 55.looks like it got flattened...now this is just my take on it. im sure some of yall love it but a 55 should never be chopped!!!

If the car was a LSR, I could see the "Severe " chop. Since it isn't and it's supposedly a street car, it seems totally off balance . scrubba

 

Thats my buddy Watne Swanson's car. Its all steel and the body is incredibly well done. He resides in Boring Oregon. Hell of an interior guy too!

I don't think that top looks poorly done at all, especially if the back window sits in relatively stock configuration

 

I don't much care for 55's, but I must admit I love that one.

i dont think the chop looks bad from these pics. i wouldnt have done the suicide doors, but it looks like it might or could be a cool car from these pics

 

You might not like the 55's style, but John Bohannon doesn't build "crap". Period.
I worked for John in the late 70s, and he's been a friend and mentor to me for almost 40 years...and crap never rolls out of his shop. When you can do better, then you can come back and talk shit.

 

Some of you guys are funny, the less chance of seeing out of a car, the more bad ass it is.
