Sorry for not up dating have been busy moving and doing other projects. Here is a quick update video of the truck I shot this weekend at the Hot Rod Reunion. The only thing different as of now is the grill I added. It is a 41 truck deluxe center grill. It was good to talk to some of you guys in person especially WuzJunk, and MoJunk hope to see you at the Ohio Mile this year.

Custom 300, I really like what you've done with your truck. I hope to build one myself. Regardless of what others may say, "build it the way YOU want it". I enjoyed visiting with you and getting to see your truck up close. I hope the tooth fairy came to see your daughter. She was sure proud of that tooth. Sam

Nice truck. Subscribed. Can you give some specs on it? Wheelbase, bed length, steering etc.. I'm collecting ideas and parts for my next build.

I just finished reading all of this topic for the first time. I think that those that made negative comments about your design would be very surprised when they saw your truck in real life. I bet those chops that inspired you were criticized when they were first done.

It was good to meet you. I hope our paths cross again.

    Good luck at the mile.

    John

Here is a different view from inside the truck from first round eliminations at bowling green. If you skip to the 2 min. mark that is when the run begins. They held us in the lanes for a little bit after I started the camera for a small clean up in the traps.

What happened on your up shift? Looked like it jumped out of gear. Still fun tho.
    What shifter are you using?:

Sorry for the late response moved and have not really had computer access. I ran in comp coupe in september at the ohio mile. We got three runs in with a top speed of 141.34 mph. Could of had a better top speed but our weekend was cut short since we broke a spring pirch during the third pass. No more progress since last photo update working on building a new shop now and hope to get more done next year.

    Thanks for the input HRP

That's great. Better luck next year. Hoping to finish something myself along similar lines.
