I didn't look up factory skirts, I just made up some on my own, lakes, and I couldn't resist putting my front wheels on it too...

Those lake pipes make it really look like it's sitting on the ground. I think it looks pretty cool with lake pipes although most responses here say go with the bellflowers. Thanks Mike!

Hey Mike, if you see this, can you change out the lake pipes for Bellflowers?

    Thanks

Sweet 59' and it has a little prestige to boot. Can't wait to see it around town in person. I say go with your gut the lakes flow good with Edsel lines, just my 2 cents.

I vote for the lakes. At that ride height they're perfect! Might need airbags to get over bumps though with those pipes...

Car's going to look great either way

That thing is gorgeous! I am currently tinkering on a 2dr '59 Edsel Ranger myself. It's light blue w/ white trim and roof, I am going the cliche flat or semi flat black and copper trim/roof, probably with a black scallop design on the roof. I'm thinking of doing some molded side pipes in the future and hopping up the 223 inline 6 with a 2x1 or a 3x1 intake and headers from Clifford's. A car is never done unless it's sold though so I have many years to do things like that.

We were in Springfield IL tonight for dinner and the Edsel Owners Club was having a car show at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. There were 15 cars sitting there tonight and expecting more tomorrow. Nice to see something different.
