Had an oil galley plug that was leaking. Then broke a throttle cable. Rough day, but learned alot, and got to meet some of the greatest people ever!!! Everyone was so helpful. Even with all the problems , we had a great time!

Nice build! Just got a 55 myself that I can't wait to start beating on. Do you any plans to make bowling green next month?

Probably wont make Bowling green, i am in the midst of moving ,my wife's family to Michigan. The next event i know for sure i will be at is the Meltdown Drags. I hope to make a couple fo test and tunes just to get the car dialed in, but other then that its all up in the air.

Wish me luck, trying to button up a couple of changes we made to the car for safety reasons, then if all goes well (and we dont get rained out again) we will be at Martin Dragway for test and tune on Wednesday evening!

No, unfortunately i cant get work off, i am trying to work out going to union grove the first weekend in July, and i am for sure going to the meltdown. I have a really rough work schedule and getting time off on the weekends is very, very, very lol difficult.

As you can see from the video above, we finally got to run Engine Joe!!! I will now bore yiou all with the gory details. Im pretty excited.
    1. pass number one was a quarter to half throttle pass , 12.68 at a killer 80 MPH, i coasted through the lights.
    2. This pass i was feeling a little more comfortable that the car was gonna go straight, so i did half to 3/4 throttle 11.54 at 102 MPH once again shutting off early
3rd pass stayed in it a little harder 10.82 at 115 mph]
    4. i was full throttle for most of the pass and pulled the fronts a tiny bit. 10.42 at 118 mph
5 was the last pass of the night, and goes with the video above, tried to stay in it the whole pass but i got a vibration at the high end of the track and got out of it a little early, 10.28 at 123 MPH . I am pretty excited and grinnin from ear to ear!
