Big Block Chev Experimental Valve Covers??

    Bought these this weekend,GM # starts with 0, so it should be experimental..... could they be Can Am ???? Any Help would be appreciated

    They are obviously designed for some sort of racing where there are potentials for high lateral g forces. I have no idea other than that. They are super cool though

    Look like an old Traco Engineering rocker cover, with the "Traco" milled out of the center.

  7. You sure those aren't for one of those early canted valve "porcupine" small block" heads that was destined for Trans Am, in 69 and never made it into production?

    The inside... Those are 'drippers'? To help the splashed oil drip directly onto the rocker arms?

    That 0 does make it prototype GM. Does it fit a 65 or later BBC? Maybe for the 63 mystery motor? What did you have to give for them?

    My guess is Can-Am, Chapparal era, dry sump.
