A Kiwi icon currently getting re-built, of all its paint-jobs I reckon that ^ one was the best.

I used to love watching it on the TV commercial for Amco jeans:cool:

In the late 70s or early 80s there was a Revell model kit. I think it was a Chevy sedan delivery in red-white-blue. Always wanted it.

New year...new pics. The flag's a little small in pic #1, in pic #2 the photo in the windshield is a shot of the blue angels flying over the world trade center from 2011.

When my '42 Dodge carryall was retired from military duty, it was received by the Arizona State Prison as surplus property. They painted it white. I assume that is common to repell as much blistering sun as possible in the Gila desert. The inmates painted the engine blue and the brake drums red. Back then, even prisoners of the state expressed some patriotism in their craft.

The green wheels and black winch bumper were my additions. They were white from the prison.

  19. I've got one, too! A USS Enterprise Rugby Team shirt. But I get what he's saying....you either respect our flag or you don't. He's probably also mis-interpreting the US flag code

"One of the most commonly ignored and misunderstood aspects of the Flag Code is section 8. "The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery." Section 3 of the Flag Code[29] defines a flag for the purposes of the code. Contrary to popular belief, the U.S. Flag Code does permit the use of flag design in fashion et cetera, provided that such a design was not formed using the actual design of the flag. The wearing of any article of clothing representing the flag is allowed, however, the flag itself is not." (from Wikipedia),

but is entitled to his own opinion on it.

I know this is way too new for this site, and I hope it doesn't get my run off, but this is my old Bronco I built a few years ago...
