Just a few more days until my Rocket Rumble cherry will be popped. Got the coupe dialed in and looking forward to the trip.

 

Seems like a lot of Northern KY guys come up to the rumble Impalamike. I'd better fill the cooler with another 24 pack

Hope a pin striper or two will be wandering around the show. Got a helmet that needs some work.

 

Last 2 years there was a guy next to me in the inside the conference room (off the parking lot near the main entrance to the hotel) striping handbags and such. I didn't pay much attention to his work but he seemed busy. Remind me when you come in and I'll see if he's still in the same spot

looked at the website vendor list for a striper, "Stripes by JED" is listed. Don't know his work but take a look while your there for your helmet stripe job

 

When you pay to get in to the show Saturday does that also include the bands in the hotel Saturday evening or is that separate?

 

I am a vendor so get all the perks when I pay the vendor fee of $150.00, but according to this you get one VIP wristband (ONE) to get in the hotel to see the bands Saturday night with the $25.00 Saturday entry.

Weekend package: $50, that's 2 VIP wristbands & car entry for ALL weekend
One Day Entry: $25 per day, that will give you your car entry & 1 VIP wristband good for that day/night only
All spectators are $10
Bands in the ballroom: FREE with wristband, $10 without a wristband.

 

Yeah, I guess I was overlooking the $25 entry, without a car though that doesn't do much good. I guess they are separate entries. 10 bucks isn't a bad cover charge for 4 bands though. I used to pay 5 bucks to get into a bar just to see one band.

 

Going to be a warm one...now they are talking 91 on Saturday. Glad I'll be inside in the AC... Ice in beer cooler doesn't melt so fast

 

it also doesn't get warm when you drink it fast either

 

Good point ! For the most part, I bring the beer for the people that stop and visit my booth...I am a whiskey drinker. Goes down smooth at room temperature!
