It may be the same as the ones used on other models. Do you know the dimensions of them? I have a 68 mustang here i can measure it and see if its the same.

Universal Seat Sliders+steel+welder = '68 Galaxy seat tracks.

The kit is for speedways buckets I think, I've just used the sliders on my trad minivan seat in my A. They work pretty well for $25.

Chevy Venture mini vans have real nice sliders under the rear bucket seats. They are about 1" thick and the handle sets the distance apart for the tracks. Shouldn't be hard to cut the handle and widen as needed.

Here is a picture of them. I wish I had these here. But it is the height and the angle that is going to be hard to copy

Thinkin maybe I can get 2 pieces of angle iron and hinge them at one end to get the right angle

making seat tracks isn't all that hard. we have made a lot of them here.well not lately but its just time consuming.we have taken jegs seat runners and used their seat brakets and made the brackets fit our seats.all kinds of ways to get around the original...and still look and work good.

'65-'68 Ford and Merc used basically the same floor stampings in the full size models. Therefore the tracks interchange. I'm sure I have good rustfree tracks out here.

Wouldn't bench seats have the same sliders, only further apart?

PS, I bought a set of universal sliders from SpdWay...the ones I got were really not nice.

those universal kits are 7 inches high. seems a bit tall... these seats are pretty thick

i have thought about using bench seat mounts. the adjustment handle is different but that can be changed.

Speedway must sell several slider kits, mine were barely an inch tall. $24.00 or so.The adjustment lever was all wrong for my needs. Item #91070026

Early Mustang trackes can be modified for almost anything. A thin track and spacers on the long mounting bolts go a long way.
