I bought 4 of these for my 37 Dodge truck. They are going on no matter what, but I have no idea what year they are off of. Any Ideas?

I have absolutely no idea, very cool though.

I paid $40 for 4 of them, and also thought they cool.

Looks like a ram on there. Judging from that and the size, I'd say a '40s Dodge.

Somebody will know the exact year though.

  6. I don't remember ever seeing any like those. I think they look pretty damned cool. Sort of a beehive look.

You did good, the cheapest one on Ebay is $40 each and one guy wants $90 for one.

Thanks for the info, I have never seen them before either. Now I am really happy with the price. Slow but sure I will find parts for my truck. Some day I will have time to put all the parts together.

They sure would look nice with a set of ribbed skinny trim rings on the right car.

  12. Correct.

  13. Or truck.

Didn't trucks get the ones that said DODGE in red letters instead of the rams head?

  15. I think you are correct. Thanks for the lesson.

So the ribbed ones were for cars, and the dodge ones were for the trucks.

I see a Rams head - play it backwards and see if there's a message from the devil

39 Dodge car, If they are 9 inches across they were used on a coupe, if they are 11 inches across they were used on a D11 or D11-S four door sedan. I have a 1939 D11-S. These caps were chrome plated brass skins over the base. Truck hub caps say DODGE across the cap.
