Just pushed this 41 Ford in to create a gasser, BBC, 4-sp..custom frame or repair the original...getting ideas on these forums...
A quote from the man that owns and runs this site and most if not all on this site agree. THE HAMB IS NOT A RAT ROD SITE. RAT RODS ARE NOT TRADITIONAL HOT RODS. IF YOU HAVE TO ASK - SIT BACK AND READ THE HAMB A WHILE BEFORE POSTING.
Its just the label “RR” Lots of differing definitions … your’s my vary A thrown together hodgepodge of parts (from all years) with sculls and crap hung allover = kinda not welcome here. An early style drag car done the way they were (RR to show car guys) = way welcome here …. just we don’t call em rat’s because there not Bottom line Its your pickup , have at it man
Also, just to save your sanity, before the gasser guys get on your back (gassers have to have fenders) Just call it a build, we would all love to see your vision happen no matter what the end result. I just hope you are on the right site
I'd love to see a gasser truck build, but agree with cakes; it's not a gasser if it doesn't have a hood and fenders.
It will be a quality build, and painted, if I locate a good drivers fender it may end up with the front clip and half fenders on the box...I'm still in the research stage looking at different pictures but want to get going on the cab and box....finding some vintage speed parts and another M-22 for it....
unique and or original speed parts for a BBC can be hard to find. It really depends on what era you're shooting for. I just tell people that mine is a 396 and let them wonder, fits right in with the 64-66 range I'm going for
