Cool score. I would leave the cage as is but thats just me. A decent running 350 will easily put it in the 9s on pump gas.
I understand why you want to change the cage but no matter how fast it is you'll still be very limited on tracks that will let you run (no NHRA). I'd want to able to run it, not look at it!
+1. No one who is a real racer or enthusiast will fault you for leaving the legal cage. Being able to roll in and pass tech without a hassle trumps having a museum piece stuck in your garage because it won't pass tech at some tracks.

You my friend you are 100% correct that would be crazy to make something not legal when it all ready is legal and ran in the 5s in the 1/8 last year . Thanks for the tip
