Really getting tired of seeing these posts about people whining because there is too much print to read and not enough pictures. If you read the o/p he said he hasn't seen it yet. Whats he supposed to do, post a picture of the 94 year old granny so you believe him?
Remember years ago reading Penthouse "letters" when you didn't need pictures and just used your imagination? Do the same here (never mind granny) and if everything works out for the guy, I'm sure you will get your pictures.

Good luck! I really hope you end up with a 32 coupe!

  3. Had a guy tell me he had a 32 Ford sedan delivery in his tow yard. This is what I found:

  4. Probably shouldn't take the child .... it is never good for them to see a grown man cry LOL

So the guy eyeballs YOURS and has to ask if its a 32? ... and you ask if the one he is talking about is a sedan or pickup and his response is "Coupe" ? ... he seems to know a lot without knowing anything .... I see red flags.... good luck.

never know where you might find something cool - just have to wait and see if you get a nod that it is For Sale so you can go look - then take pics & post here.

Hopefully she's not the talkative type: "Daddy, are these the people who you said you were gonna sneak that Deuce right from under their noses?"

My father dragged me 2.5 hours to look at a mint 1967 mustang that had been sitting from 1970 that he wanted to sell cheap. It turned out to be a 1967 mustang that the guy had sitting in his shed. He had run his snow blower down the side of it every snow storm for 20 years. The side of the car was so thin from the rubbing you could see through it. The engine was junk and he wanted 20 grand for it. Fun day with dad:mad:

This is what happens when you forget to include a smiley thingie in your post...someone always takes it the wrong way and ends up getting their panties in a wad...

  16. You could do a lot worse than a decapitated T coupe. Couple of cars behind it look interesting, too.

I wish you luck but the hit ratio on these sorts of stories is about 1% or less. Will be interesting to see what it is.

Hey, what's the worst that could happen? Take a nice drive into the hills and see an old car? Even if it's not what they thought, the possibility that it is will make the trip a must do!

  22. Well worth the time and effort to look - good luck!

That's not enough to make me retreat from a Deuce hunt, but I'd definitely be watching my six.

Good luck man, I hope it turns out. At the very least it sounds like you met a fun family.

  24. If its been in a barn it will need washing.
Be sure to ask how to wash it.
I'd link the thread on how to wash a 1950 Buick but it might be a completely different process for a 32 ford .
