Hot Rods Youngsters av8 roadster build

    So im finally startet a build threat on my newly bought roadster. Its only my second build so i have a very small experiance of building cars.

    Sorry for my bad English, im a swede.

    Had some trouble loading pics, i will try upload my progress later but heres the roadster :)

    Looks like a great car.... I hope you post pics of the progress and changes you make...

    Took the roadster apart and sent the frame to sandblasting. Seems like a squirrel or some nut eating creature has once lived in the gasoline tank, its filled with nutshells. Pretty funny :D

    Scored some new 39 brakes on a model a axle, now i just need a 39 axle to put them on

    Great build, tell us more about the roadster, where did you find it? Model A's must be pretty rare in Sweden...good luck on the build, I will be following this.

    Thanks, ya real model a roadsters are pretty rare in sweden. I Braught it from a guy who took it in from florida.:)

    That is one of the worst A frames I have ever seen. Are you going to try and save it? They are so plentiful here in the States that would get scrapped.

    Its pretty bad but its saveable :). there arent so many here in sweden sadly

    :D Looks like a pretty good foundation for a nice build.Sorta looks like a swarm of "steel eating fuzworts" got a hold of the frame.Good looking repair work there though.

    Installed the banger and got everything painted black. Every chassie part need to be original when i registrate the car but after i got it registrated i will put a flatty in it and rebuild the chassie

    Scored a 50s Mordrop axle 3,5" drop

    And some -35ford 16" wire wheels, i have ordered som new 750-600 firestone who will arrive this week

    And my brother in law bought a -46 tudor. Pretty darn healthy, its been layin on the roof in the woods science -57. Floors is comepletely solid
