  12. It's a 1963 Jackson Roto Faze, dual coil unit mounted on a factory fuel injection base with tach and fuel pump drive.

Congrats on the Corvette. I watched it on eBay and had asked the owner a couple questions, but never got a reply to any of my messages. Car has a great look. Glad to see it wound up in good hands. Good luck with the project.

Did the left valve cover clear the linkage embossment? I am having to run an extra gasket for clearance. Man a fre looks sharp! How does it run?

  18. BTTT Still trying to identify the car!

We haven't run it yet, last owner of the engine said it ran great though, he's a friend of ours. Only thing that didn't fit well on top was the throttle arm, someone previously notched it to clear the valve cover a little.

Freds Plastic Toy...I sure would love to see pictures of that car. It had a wild paint job. Its been over 40 years since I wached it get loaded to go to the races. I was 10 years old.

  20. Here is Fred's Plastic Toy, not sure yet if it's the same car...

We fired it up and it ran great, however the carbs leaked so I'm rebuilding them now, should be done today. Will post pics and maybe video this week once it's all done!

    Vetrod62 says,

I can not believe I missed the first time around. I had this same set up in my 61 corvette and loaned it to "Woodrow" in Livingston NJ in about 1968. So Woodrow, where is it now??

I know you are still a car guy and should be on this forum. WTF

  24. Could you post a larger version of the first picture? With the hardtop? Thanks,
    -Dean

  25. Bump!!

It's all done! Engine runs great, tons of power. The throttle response is instant. The gears seem to be 4:88, judging by how many turns on the driveshaft to one revolution of the rear wheel, it's snappy. Now if we can just figure out some history!
