 I just got the pink slip on our club's 1959 Ford F250. It's not exactly new to me, since I drove it back in the 1970's when my good friend Bill bought it so we all could use it when we didn't want to hurt our regular rides, but it has been neglected, left out in a field for over six years since Bill died. You folks seem like my kind of people--you appreciate the potential of old iron. Maybe you won't laugh too hard when I wonder why my pickup has an engine that says "Thunderbird" on it, or ask if the fact that one door locks and the other has to be closed by pushing down on the door handle is how it is supposed to work. Thanks for being here!

welcome. Sounds about right for door handles, if you cut them off it resolves those issues.
