Sometimes, I get these weird ideas....

To replicate an Oklahoma road, you would need scaled down traffic cones, flashers and detour signs. Not to mention garden gnomes for toll booths.

That is a really cool thing that you have going on there.

Cool idea. But why no passing on the straightaway? Just kiddin'. Looks great. Though I would've been tempted to paint it with old-style white lines...so when you've got the "foot feed clear to the floor"...the lines on the road would "look just like dots".

 

Awesome! Hope you work for a paving co. and got a discount! I'd have been tempted to have a R/R crossing and lay a pair of railroad tracks down before paving and have them vanish into the woods.

If you're in a fire threatened area in San Diego, you have to pave your driveway for fire truck access when you build new or add on to an existing home. My Brother in law added a 24' x 24' kitchen/dining room onto the back of his house. He had to asphalt the dirt 400' driveway with a 60' turnaround at the house AND retro fit the entire home with a fire sprinkler system. Cost as much as the addition.

I've just gotta say this. You guys have some GREAT ideas. I specifically like the billboard suggestion. I think a classic Coca-Cola sign or a Chevrolet ad would be pretty slick.

The Burma Shave signs are good too but I don't want to over do it with the signs. Too many will make it look out of scale.
