Anyone have a method for removing water spots from polished aluminum wheels (Real Rodders Wheels). I've tried all the usual.....aluminum polish from several sources.....Mothers, Flitz, etc, polishing compound, Simple Green, vinegar and water. Nothing seems to totally remove them. Suggestions?

  2. Have you tried a baking soda and water paste? HRP

You might have to use acid to reclean the aluminum then repolish,I have to do that to my semi wheels once a year, the best polish I've found is white diamond it works killer with minimal work

The best thing I've came across is take the white bars they use for polishing aluminum and use a bondo cheese greater and shreed the white bar and mix it with gasoline and make a paste with the two. And rub it in and wipe it clear with a clean cloth and it works great. Trust me it works!

  8. Vinegar works great on glass...might have to re-polish aluminum after using it.

Zephyr Pro 40. Expensive, but easy to use. Use it on my canned ham.

I use WENOL in a tube purchased from Ace Hardware. No abrasives and I also use it to clear scratched of auto window glass. It odes best with all cotton Turkish towels as the buffing material.
