finally made the decision to participate as a racer.

bringing the 65 Dodge Coronet "Hang 'em High" AWB car.

looking forward to seeing lots of great folks and great racing action.

and most of all my pals Earl Schieb and Gator

I'm sure you can, but it's a little pricey. They charge $75 for the car and driver plus $75 for each rider. Hey, it's only money and I'll bet you have a large time.

The preregistration fee was $75 for the car, driver and one passenger. No way this is a rip off or overpriced for the best rodding event there is. Its worth every penny.

55gasser, the preregistration is over. I'm sure you can still register at Beech Bend. Call 626-695-5635 or 909-622-2575 to make sure.

I am from Nashville and usually run up for a day. I always try to get there early and just register at a small tent/RV right outside of the event fairgrounds. I have never pre-registered for this event.

This show always blows my mind. Quality cars, cool folks, monster swap meet with odd ball goods, nitro stinging eyes, and awesome vintage racing. Not to mention, beautiful grounds.

Our group is leaving early Wednesday morning. We have to make a stop in Poplar Bluff, Mo. so we are going to take a southern route across 60 hwy. Wednesday is planned as a travel day so we're going to take our time and see some new road. The weather for the HRR is looking good. Some of us have never been so we're looking forward to it. We went to Goodguys Indy for a bunch of years. The only negative comments I've heard about the HRR is the golfcart issue. We will be in the black 57 pickup in my avatar. The other vehicle is an o/t silver 69 Camaro. Hope to get to visit with some of you there. Sam
