I only got to make one pass, but still had a great time.

Did anyone get pics of my green Tbucket on the track?

  9. I have never seen so many broken rear end and just general carnage at one event before. Still had a lot of fun. Great cars great people.

I just posted this the Melt Down thread ....uhg. i meant to to put it here..

My 57 made the almost 300 mile round trip with out any problems.
Other than I cant get away from a stop sign / light fast enough
for some people in their D/Ds.

There was a lot of cool iron going down the track.

And if anyone has video of the late 60s mopar that got all crossed up,
should post it. That driver needs to get a DRIVER OF THE YEAR AWARD.
Not sure what broke, but about 1/2 track all hell broke loose .
He did a tremendous job keeping it off the wall !
I think it might have been on two wheels also.... the left two.

thanks Eric for letting me park in the Melt Down pits.

See ya at the Melt Down.

  13. Yeah my car is in most of the pics but it was my camera!

  14. I saw your car there, nice ride.
I think the Mopar you're talking about is a '64 Coronet (I'm never sure on id'ing those early 60's Mopars). I missed that incident, but I saw it sitting perpendicular on the track...must of been something. I like to see that video, if anybody has caught it. Another kudos goes to the wheelie popping green '55 Chevy, aways in the near lane for a reason as it goes left in the air, almost hitting the wall every time it's running...but the driver handles it well (awesome!)

  15. the 55 hit the wall today not bad a little crease down the side and some stripes.

Wow! I'd say it got a little harry in Mike Balina's green machine! I like how Mike got right back into it after kissing the wall. There's a reason he got the "Big Balls" award at the 2nd Meltdown.

Man, what fun. I got an 18.49 after running high 19s all day. If that sounds weak, I only had 11.5 ci. I was the dude on the bike. :D In the pits, a fella told me the announcer said I looked like EJ Potter all tucked like that. I took it as a massive complement.

I also made a shotgun pass with Eric Koopmeiners. The f'in clutch is slipping!
