finally made the decision to participate as a racer. bringing the 65 Dodge Coronet "Hang 'em High" AWB car. looking forward to seeing lots of great folks and great racing action. and most of all my pals Earl Schieb and Gator
Yup - got a letter and two phone calls... But I did send he extras back. Good deal Bob - looking forward to seeing you there.
I'm sure you can, but it's a little pricey. They charge $75 for the car and driver plus $75 for each rider. Hey, it's only money and I'll bet you have a large time.
i think all the info you need is here.i think?http://www.museum.nhra.com/apcm/templates/general.asp?articleid=676&zoneid=41&navsource=reunions
ok,,,my bad,, I didnt preregister ,,just going by what someone told me,,,,,damn,, that's too much if you didn't preregister and bringing a passanger $$$$
The preregistration fee was $75 for the car, driver and one passenger. No way this is a rip off or overpriced for the best rodding event there is. Its worth every penny.
2x that Absoutely best racing you will see,and if something breaks they dont mess around they goter cleaned up and back to racing.Another favorite of mine was a 55 chevy primered gasser twisting all outta shape and loosing his back glass bout half way down the track. He was outta TENN but man that guy was driven the crap outta of her
55gasser, the preregistration is over. I'm sure you can still register at Beech Bend. Call 626-695-5635 or 909-622-2575 to make sure.
I am from Nashville and usually run up for a day. I always try to get there early and just register at a small tent/RV right outside of the event fairgrounds. I have never pre-registered for this event. This show always blows my mind. Quality cars, cool folks, monster swap meet with odd ball goods, nitro stinging eyes, and awesome vintage racing. Not to mention, beautiful grounds.
I'm physched. For the 2nd time I'm taking my old man and my son, 3 generations of gearheads. Should be an Awesome Fathers day weekend.
Mailed my extra tickets and car pass back too. Hope everyone has a safe trip and we'll see you there!!
Gotta make notes on you guys that are going, so I can look ya up. Say hi if you see me by my 29 Hemi Roadster. Had to cancel 1 room at the Bryce Inn, if someone needs one try them in case it stays open. 270-563-5141
Our group is leaving early Wednesday morning. We have to make a stop in Poplar Bluff, Mo. so we are going to take a southern route across 60 hwy. Wednesday is planned as a travel day so we're going to take our time and see some new road. The weather for the HRR is looking good. Some of us have never been so we're looking forward to it. We went to Goodguys Indy for a bunch of years. The only negative comments I've heard about the HRR is the golfcart issue. We will be in the black 57 pickup in my avatar. The other vehicle is an o/t silver 69 Camaro. Hope to get to visit with some of you there. Sam
Cant wait! My Dad, brother, and I are going down Thursday to setup at the camp grounds. This is our second time going but first time camping. Been looking forward to this since last year!!
