My neighbor down the street put this out by the curb hoping the scrap guys would take it. I am sure they would have, but it was too nice to scrap so I grabbed it before they came by. I believe it is out of an Impala 4 door, but I am not sure of the year.
Any guesses? I'm sure I can find a use for it.

Your neighbor? I'm guessing he knows theres a dude (you) down the street that is interested in old cars right? But instead of asking you if you want it he puts it out on the curb for the scrappers to take?!?!

  16. I got a blank box here, no picture. Happens frequently on the HAMB.
    What's the deal?

Something is wrong with the HAMB's photo storage and posting portion of the website. Most posts with photos are blank and you can't post photos right now.

exactly right. He didn't think I would be interested, but he is glad I saved it. I told him to ask first before he tosses anything else. Thanks for putting a date on it guys.

Looking at the trim, it appears to fold forward. 4-doors don't do that, and 2 doors have 2 upper halves. Is it from a truck?

Hey Ghost, Put some legs on it and use it in the shop. Looks good enough for an occasional nap.
When the time comes take a section out of the middle (narrow it) and use it in a project.
I keep looking at your Threads and Work and I am sure you will find a home for it in the future.
It is good to see someone else working on the Old Gm Wood Composite Bodies. Your talent cuts down on the number of "Cookie Cutter" cars frequently discussed.
    GOOD SAVE !!! Jeff

:) Find a salvageable rear clip from a wreck and make a sofa for a man cave.

Make sure to check it with a black light before clearing a spot in the living room.
