Kustom Kings Benefit Car Show will be held Saturday, September 7 from 10am ~ 3pm, at Watsons Drive-In at 631 W. Main Street, in historic downtown Denison TX; a rain date of Saturday, September 28 will be observed. This is an open show, and all makes and models are welcome ... if it rolls on wheels, bring it and enter the show. Registration is by donation at check-in, and proceeds from the show benefit local charity. Kustom Kings will present multiple awards to our show picks, plus additional awards will be presented by area car clubs. In addition, show participants will vote for their favorite Kustom Kings (Host) club car. We will have a 50/50 pot, door prizes, and an auction for donated items. Great Watson Drive-in food -- burgers, sandwiches, fries, shakes, and cold drinks -- will be available during the show. Rock & Roll music will be provided by SPLIT WINDOW Productions. Hope that you guys notice that the Kustom Kings car club now has a website (www.kustomkings.net). For this year, we moved the show date to the first Saturday in September (9/7) and for the first time we established a rain date ... the 4th Saturday (9/28). We've been really lucky for all the years we held a show, but decided it was about time we don't press our luck -- we almost got rained out last year as it was cloudy until about noon or so, but we never had a drop fall on us.
