After 30 years I dropped the flathead in the frame late today. Something isn't fitting right so that will be my project next week

I have a 37 Ford pickup that my grandfather gave me in the early 1960s

2 steps forward and another step back, again. The 39 flywheel/clutch/pressure plate won't work with the 37 4 speed transmission. I don't want to drop the oil pan, change out the flywheel and buy another cluch/pressure plate because of $$$ right now. Spent hours cleaning the 39 3 speed tranny of 75 years of grease and dirt and have it almost ready for paint. Gaskets and seals will be here Monday from Van Pelt then it all goes back together. Stay tuned for new pictures next week. Several people tried to tell me to use the 3 speed instead of the bulldog 4 speed. I hope their happy now.
