I was coming home empty-handed from a swap meet this afternoon and spotted an antique store in a village I was driving past. I stopped in to see what he had, and out back behind a storage building I found these. They weren't dirt cheap, but they weren't even close to what these normally sell for. :D

The door latch area appears to be the only real rot in them them.

GOOD FIND!! Probably got them cheaper at the antique store than you would have at the swap meet anyway!!

    Yup! The ever elusive T & A doors. :D
He didn't know what they were for but said someone told them they were worth a bit of money. I paid him a reasonable amount for them.

It is! I've never seen them rot out like that before. I'm going to clean them up a bit tomorrow and see if there's any other problems.

I almost didn't bother stopping, but I had some spare time. Good thing I stopped!

    :)

Thanks! I paid a fair price for them, but still considerably less than swap meet prices. I wish I'd found them before I hit the swap meet. :p

Trailer was comical. Bought the Buick roadster rear half.

Looks like where ever they were stashed they were sitting on the edge where the rust/latch is not sitting up like in your pic. I have a "A" tail gate with rust out on the top from being stored on edge with the bottom up, Nice find !!!
