Turbo 400 case has its bell cut off and ridges on front pump taken off so ALUM
    plate can go on.
Cast iron hydro bell put on plate.
    Which torq conv?
Which flywheel, olds, what year how many teeth?
Flywheel has standoffs welded on for torq conv.
Man in Wis that did these has passed.
I had one which was sold to a local man.

The flywheel looks like an Olds pre-57 Hydramatic; look at all the torus bolt holes at the edge.

I'm guessing that the green bellhousing in front of the aluminum plate would be also Hydramatic Olds?

This is the best 400 set up I have ever seen. What are the rocker arms off from? I have Harland Sharp FE Ford rocker arms on my 57 engine.

I saw these for sale several years ago on that auction site.
I had on old 56 Jetaway I was going to scrap until I saw that, I kept the bellhousing for such a swap.
I'm still trying to understand your question, it looks like the converter and everything you need is there to bolt it up.
How many teeth are on the ring gear?

I no longer have any of that but at the time I had a 54 and 57 engines so the rockers would have been from? I did not know you could use Harland Sharp FE Ford rockers?
In my personal data on this site is a album with the finished 54 with roller rockers and lifters and I do not know where they game from?

The later model, aluminum hydramatics centered the converter bung in the end of the crank for things to be "concentric". How would you be assured of this with one of these setups? Or am i missing something? Butch/56sedandelivery.

There is a bung for the crank, but if something had to be done to the crank?

Looks as if there should be a spacer/adapter for converter to old flywheel/crankshaft. I would think there might be a second flywheel involved or some sort of flexplate to olds flywheel. This idea is great till you get to the spacers going from converter to Olds flywheel. Looks like a great shearpoint if you ask me.

I am thinking that the bung on the Chevy converter is not used on this application. It looks like the 3 bolt/bungs welded to the Olds torus cover/flywheel are unusally large diameter, and they just might be what keeps it centered.

GMC V6 used a very odd P/G and TH400 setup in the 60s, and I am trying to recall if those had a center bung or not.

That area on front of converter looks like it would fit the crank like in this jetway pic.
