doing some intereior tin work on the Larkness Monster

    my buddy lewy dropped off the lark the other day to have me do some interior metal work on the car before bowling green. here is what we are doing

    here is the car

    in the shop ready for work

    made a new piece to go around the pedals

    removable transmission tunnel side panel

    [​IMG]

    driver side sill plate

    [​IMG]

    driver side door panel laid out ready to be cut out and bead rolled

    door panel first fit, still needed a little trimming

    [​IMG]

    cut an insert out of aluminum that will be engine turned and riveted to the door panel

    the rear side panel laid out, cut and ready to bead roll

    It has a SBC 406 in it shoved back about 12 inches

    Lovin' It! I'm working on a '63 Hope to finish it yet this year, but probably 2014 at the rate I'm going. I'm running a 383 sbc and a 4spd. Normal Norman

    more progress from today, sorry for the weird/ bad pics, it was hard to get good pics around the roll cage

    got the package tray panel made

    thanks guys, this is mt first all aluminum race car interior and really want it to be top notch for this car. since the car is top notch in its self

  27. That is the coolest race car interior ever! Light weight and gorgeous.....the total car concept is too. It would be awsome to see it @ THE HAMB DRAGS. Any chance?
