We've seen some pics of sick custom work, chops, bagged suspension, etc...

How about some shots of some original rides...kinda like the earlier thread on un-hotrodded Willys.

Whatever you have...mint, patina'd rust bucket. I want to see cars that are pretty much as they left the factory.

    What do you have?

A true surviver 51 ford county squire. Working on getting it running and driving, no plans to alter the fine patina.
P.S. I'm looking for two rusty hub caps (51 dog dish with the F in the center.. look at the hub cap on the spair tire) to match the patina on the wagon.

    WWinIL -

Thats one of my dream rides. Love it!

Relic - how far have you gotten on the car and what's the story behind it? That woodwork is a thing of beauty!

    NWB - 4spd? SWEET...looks like a solid ride.

Red - If you sell that, you will kick yourself. You can get money anywhere...a Caddy like that, not so much...

Flat - If that coupe is an example of benign neglect, I'd like to see your definition of "restored" :)

Keep 'em coming guys...they're only original once...

How about my 63 C10. The original paint code is 55 which is gray with a white top Some off it is still poking through. Theres also a coat of orange and a coat of red and of course rust. The wife has a dark burgundy picked out for it. It's close to a new corvette color. I'm going to drive it as is this summer then blow it apart this winter. Wish me luck. Now if I can only get her to pick a set of wheels. 1963 C10 001.jpg

Lost a few survivors in Sandy, but this wasn't "down the shore" so I still have it.

1960 Lincoln Premiere coupe. Roughly 45k miles, partial front seat reupholster (leather part) and some paintwork but otherwise an original survivor.

Most of mine have been exactly that...unrestored originals...nothin' fancy. Just butt-high or butt-low, an open exhaust, and drive 'em. I've almost always had vintage cars as my daily drivers. Had to sell 'em all recently to focus on other things...but I'll hopefully be back at it before long. Here's a list of some I've had and a couple pics.

'51 Buick Roadmaster 2dr hardtop. (Riviera) Wish I had a pic. What a car.
'52 Chevy 2dr sedan. Put 3 motors in over the years. 1 216 and 2 235s. No pic.
    '46 Ford business coupe.
    '46 Buick Super 4dr.
    '47 Hudson Super Six coupe.
And the '37 Chevy barn-find coupe. Pissed me off that I had to sell that one.
I rebuilt and installed a 235 and only got to take 'er for a few runs around the farm. %#%&*!!!

Here´s my 62 Impala. got it with 16k original miles in 1998. It was completely rustfree , the paint had faded from the sun and the engine gasket were leaking. But it still has the first interior, drivetrain, carpet,....Only parts I changed were the brake hoses, rubberparts and seals. I could kick myself in the butt for painting it, cause the patina was so cool. But I wanted it to be perfect back than.

  26. Here is my 59 as it left the Dealer's Lot in 59. It's still regestered in the name on the 59 Bill of Sale. Car has 74K on the clock. It's Aztec Gold and Colonial White. I keep thinking a Watson style paint job and a set of Supremes with skinny White Walls. I just haven't been able to brake out the sand paper yet. I'll probably leave that for the next owner. Yes it can be bought.
