I remember it well from Lee's collection - "the Zephyr with cleavage". The designer gave Lee a drawing of the same concept applied to a Packard - as a bonus the headlights were molded into the fenders and hidden behind miniature Packard grilles!

According to AuctionsAmerica.com, it sold for only $11,213 at the Lee Roy Hartung
Collection auction in 2011 due to no reserve.

As ugly as it is, it's still a piece of history and would be pretty cool to own.
    Somebody got a bargain...

There is something about that front-on view that is headache-inducing!

Was gonna say, if its photoshopped then they're very talented with a mouse!

Then again, if they had been able to use photoshop when this was built they might have had second thoughts before reaching for the tools!

  5. I thought this was gonna be good suspension tech, but it's just crap.

    My thoughts exactly!

But one wonders if there is a way to pull off the double-nose thing. Presumably one would want twin engines side by side behind them. Two early-type Cadillac V16s? They're 45° Vs with all the breathing through the V, so they might be made to snuggle up tightly to one another.

I read the card at the showdown. The inventor, I think his name was Morrison, or something like that said he did this to create a sense that the car appeared wider than normal, in hopes that the customer would feel he was getting more for his money. Whoever built the car, has skills, it was quality work for sure.

No photochop, everyone at the showdown most likely saw it, in fact it was parked in Big Old's spot.
