    The headlights look awesome.

The bumper guard is 100% period correct. (They also made them for the rear.) Very heavy-walled chromed tubing. The 50 Plymouth I had as a kid had a set just like them from the original dealer.

I brought that bumper guard over 12 yrs ago and have been saving it i never found the rear one but i might make it out of e.m.t. Being I'm and electrician and i bend it all the time and have it chromed its only three bend

The rear one on my 50 had 4 bends. Two bends 'down' like in the front, and two bends (approx 45 degrees) as seen from the top. This was because of the curvature of the bumper and it was also lower than the one in the front so the trunk lid would clear. But your 47 might have a different shape. The ends as you know are flattened and curved to match the bumper and they get squeezed between the bumper and the guard with the bumper bolt.

Purchased the cheap hammer dolly set from harbor freight today, in two minutes took out a nasty crinkled dent in the fender. Now il watch some videos on how to do it right and really get banging

I decided i would sand blast my parts not because im cheap but because i like the challenge. .
So you have seen the booth i made here is how i do my blasting
I started with the driest sand i could find at home depot but it sucks to many rocks and very very dusty.
So ace has play sand in paper bags (this is key as its very dry).
    Home depot junk
    ImageUploadedByTJJ1369570571.370257.jpg
Ace is the place untill i goto the beach
    ImageUploadedByTJJ1369570613.860059.jpg
I use a metal cooking pan cause you can spread it out to collect sand and bend it almost to a funnel to pour out sand. An extra screen laying around to keep out the big stuff at an angle
And dont forget your wifes gardening tool.
    ImageUploadedByTJJ1369570896.339592.jpg
You can figure the rest pour sand in pot. And blast. Repeat as necessary

Ok you ready for my next idea.
I grabbed couple bmw projector headlights.
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1370229414.565804.jpg
Pop off glass. Then Separate silver dish
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1370229455.560263.jpg
Center dish on back of bulb
Mark it then cut with a wizzer wheel i hope then insert projector and epoxy the two together

Ok first attempt result is from heat with a regular cut off wheel produces cracks. But you dont really see them from the front

Im wondering if a tile blade would be better.Rotozip with tile blades works nice. But since it had cracks i cant tell if this wont crack the glass too
