I just picked this up and might sell or keep and build as a custom car.

Nice. Looks like it had a home in a ditch for a while.

Could this be the one advertised here for 30 minutes sometime last week?

they are odd looking guppie like cars meant only to be racers---a custom would be like asking a chicken to swim like a duck...

They look better as a hotrod or racer to me also.

Look around a bit. You will see some custom Willys coupes in the little pages and here on HAMB. Not saying which is better looking, but it has been done.

Do the custom, not all Willys need to be gassers!

Thank you for posting this ^^^ it is a nice custom, I tend to lean towards gassers with these but this works also.

I'd go custom with a Carson top. Easier than repairing that roof. Good luck.

Gasser, Pro Stock, Custom or just plain old Hot Rod, it just doesn't get any better than a 41 Willy's. Congrats, hoping to see a build thread....

Mine - insert shameless plug here - for sale at $20k is I think in slightly better shape than Drumyn29's latest acquisition....;)

    Classy lady!

I love these cars but it sure seems a lot harder to pull off a nice custom. I'd like to see more of that red one above!

Actually the car sat in a ditch in Texas about 20 years ago , it made the move to Fayetteville Georgia back then , it just was sold 3 weeks ago to a guy in Macon Georgia for 25 hundred bucks and now it made it back to the west coast ...........simply amazing !
