[IMG] Is this a 32 ford firewall? It's in a pickup.

The round part in the middle is a vibration dampner for the 4 banger. The battery holder is not original.

Early '32 firewalls had a place for linkage or something because Ford was going to use a vacuum boosted clutch. This never reached production but early B blocks had a boss on the left side of the block for the same reason.

  9. Nah, that's 31 Hudson.

Set that scrap out on the curb, I'll pick it up.

    Nice score!

It's Deuce firewall. Yours came out of a 4cyl car going by the gas pedal linkage but all the firewalls were punched for both engines. My early V8 fire wall had the holes for the 4 cyl linkage and the big round thing in the middle. (I never memorized what they called it)

You can see the unused 4 cyl holes in my V8 firewall.

Was just glad to finally pick one up. Have been looking for a while now but most were too pricey for me. My 32 has had this in it for the past 30+ years! [IMG] [IMG] here's a couple better pics [IMG] [IMG]
