so sorry to be reading this danny, the HAMB has lost one of it's most respected and knowledgeable members. R.I.P. Randy, you have left a lot of friends and admirers as a legacy of yours. Condolences to the family.

    NO!...shit... dammit! I hate death...

Randy is a pal, a trooper, and a fellow deuce snob...no... an elitist deuce snob...he liked to bust my chops whenever he could...and I'm proud to call him my friend.

We give condolences to his family, but it is the Hamb that needs condolences right now.

    So long Randy...

It is sad to read this. Deuce Roadster was one of those here on the HAMB that have made this site what it is. It was always refreshing to read his contributions. I will surely miss him.

    Rest in Peace.

So sorry to hear. I Liked sitting & talking with Randy in Daytona. Sad a lot of us are getting to the age that we have to deal with parent stuff & friends starting to go around us.

    Sad news indeed.
I met him at the first HAMB drags. Somewhere I have a pic of him in his roadster by the entrance of the old drive-in we stopped at. In the early days of the HAMB, this upstart thought he came off as being arrogant, but after time passed this upstart realized he wasn't that, the fact was he knew his stuff. I was humbled by him and he was a gentleman.
    God Speed.

I went back and reread some of his most recent posts. He was changing wheels on the Deuce and having fun with it..........that was only a week ago. Life is so uncertain, one day you are enjoying life and the next day something like this. :( So sad.

  21. Damn....sorry to hear this. I got the opportunity to meet and talk with Randy at the Rodders Journal show last fall. Very nice guy. I followed him through the streets of Baltimore. Godspeed my friend.

I am truly at a lose for words. Randy was a hell of a guy, and has been a real help to me. As a "young" guy just getting in to '32's, he was a wealth of information & someone I could always count on for advice or help. Even though I thought I was being a pest at times, He ALWAYS took the time to answer my questions & offer his advice. I was aware of his kidney failure & he sure made the best of it. He will be missed...

  27. While I only had the privilege of knowing Randy for a few short years I will always remember him as one the most friendly, helpful and down to earth guys I've ever known. He gave me a lot of good advice when I was putting my car together and I always enjoyed his easy going manner when I'd run into him at events. A true southern gentleman.

His family is in my thoughts and prayers.
