Got my 4 year old son hooked this weekend him airbrushing for the first time, didn't do too bad actually but I did have to keep reminding him not to hold it too close to the part (got a few runs) and this is the end result (sorry for the crappy camera phone pics)
Not mine, but thought you guys would like it. This guy does amazing work, especially the paint jobs. Pretty neat truck: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=1088659
Fuzzy, that is great! Brought in a new builder and if that's his first build he will be someone to watch in the future! 30FordNerd, is that 34 a replica of one of Freddie Cavasinni's 34s? Doc.
thanks doc, he did receive a fair bit of assistance but I have a heap of unbuilt kits for him to practice on.
Not a lot this week. I'm doing the cars that will go in front of the Zeppelin Diner : This is Monogram's 1930 Packard speedster , a replica of a car where 1,250 were built . I wanted a really expensive car to sit out front at the diner , hence a reporter's car for a Gossip rag ............... AMT's 1929 Ford Model A roadster scrubba
Nice work guys!!!... I started on one of Revell's newest kits.. The '69 COPO Chevy Nova.. Probably won't have pics of it for a couple of weeks.. Bin working allot of hours lately.. Including Sundays.. But, the money's good..

I always enjoy seeing your builds of these 1/87 cars, I've been slowly collecting some of the reissue slot car bodies to sometime make a small diorama of a scene at the races. Thought you might be interested in some of the bodies this guy offers, they seem to change around, I haven't bought anything from him before but I'm thinking about it. He has some bodies that might fit into your diorama, I see he also has a vintage 1/87 Divco milk truck. http://www.ebay.com/sch/taillights_...h=item35c0f0b358&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
I didn't build this and I'm not sure whether it is scratch built or an obscure kit.I bought it at the Billetproof swap meet last weekend for $20. The table it is sitting on is 19 inches long.Another one for my accumulation.
Looks like you stole it for 20 bucks... Nice deal!.. I wonder who built it??? Probably an old master wood worker...
There is a name written on the underside of the car.Supposedly it was built by a friend of a friend of mine (who sadly passed away recently)so I am still in the process of finding out the info.Whatever the case it looks like he had a pretty good eye for proportion.I don't think it was quite finished as the wood still needed to sanded smooth and it looked like he was going to cut out the side doors. I was tempted to finish it up but on second thought I think I'll leave it as is.
