A couple of diecast 55 and 56 Chevy ElCamino concepts I did several years ago. I ended up building a real 56 and used my small scale one to plan out my color choice. I have several of my real builds in diecast or plastic. Currently looking for a Franklin Mint diecast 56 Nomad so I can duplicate a larger 1/24 version of my full size build.
Lots of interesting W.I.P.s this week. I always look forward to Model Car Sundays to see what turns up. I'm never disappointed. I showed some in progress pics of this recent completion about a month back. Revell Deuce roadster with everything I could throw at it to get it in the weeds, inspired by the late 50's show rods before things got really crazy... Thanx for lookin', B.
A bit late but this model is worth the bump. Beautiful work man. Great show everyone. Now where is this weeks? Oh I see it over there, Chao!
Thought you guys might get a kick out of this, recently got back into slot cars after a track opened near my house, even had my mom dig up my 1/32 womp stuff from 30 years ago! A whole lot cheaper than racing a 1:1 car for sure.
I haven't bent any tin for the body yet...still in the early stages of shaping my bucks for forming on to. I've got the assembly jigs built & metal cut for the rails.
