I`ve been trying for 2 days to get registered....I think it`s a problem on my end with cox.net...I can send and receive email, but I can`t get photos to go.

I might just draw some pictures of my new car, then fold them in the shape of a wing, then throw it south ...It will probably get to Austin before my e pictures.

  5. I'm registered, paid and have my room reservations. Getting excited!!!!!!!

  6. That gives you 8 days to spare!!

I remember when we lived in MT we went to a cruise and 3 days later were in the delivery room with #3. On top of that my wife drove the Model A to the cruise and I was in the Hudson.

You can make your reservation over the phone. Ask for the Hamb Drags discount.

gEEz, that sounds like much fun. I love the good ole days of drag racing, when only used the brakes "after" you crossed the finish line. I wish Missouri wasn't so far from Virginia. I also here KOA, or KKOA has a great show in Salinas, KS.
How close are the 2, mileage and date?

KKOA Salina is July 25-28 and HAMB DRAGS is August 17th of course in Asbury (Joplin) Missouri. Several weeks and several hundred miles apart.

MoKan is about 5-6 hours (depending on stops along the way) from St. Louis if you take I-44. If you take normal highway, it's much further. Most people associate MoKan with Joplin as it is the closest city of any real size in the area. Pittsburg Kansas is actually closer, but much smaller than Joplin. Joplin is about a half hour drive from MoKan.

Also, If plan on coming the day before the Drags, there is a very good swap meet in Springfield, Mo. You can spend the day at the swap meet, go to Joplin for the pre-drag fun and festivities, and attend the drags the next day. It's always a good time. This is one of the weekends that I always make sure is cleared on my calendar.

Shouldn't be more than 5 days. If longer make sure your e-mail went thru.
