Not alot going on lately, chassis has been blasted and painted chassis black, the motor is at the mechanic to give it a check up, been working on little things that aren't much fun but nonetheless have to be done! like garnish mouldings.

here's a few pics of the rear quarter window. some pics with temporary tack welded to hold shape and alignmnet while I fabricate the corner shape...the corner was a bitch to make with the radius and flare the other direction as it gets out to the back corner. Well with a little wipe and some primer it will look just fine. This is the controversial rear window radius that some did not care for.....Oh well, ya can't please everybody! :)

Planning on running solenoids in the doors, dumping the stock Buick handles....so I machined up a pair of Lincoln door buttons. Very close to stock size, should look much better with some more polishing :D

After many months and years of welding, cutting, filling, priming............finally paint!!
It is PPG concept single stage, a dark maroon color. Man... that stuff lays out good! Anyway a few days later I HAD to mount the rear fenders and skirts cause I couldn't stand the pressure, and hang one piece of stainless to see.

I still have the doors to finish as well as the front fenders, hood, but it's a start!!

And I love those skirts, I wish I had the skill to do that on my '46 Chevy.

the buick decklid emblem stays, it will be turn signals. of course it needs a little attention, but it stays!! Heck if I shaved it off, someone might mistake the car for a damn chevy! :)
