Yes. I painted the wheels on my '29AV8 rpu Rustoleum Sand. A nice neutral color that works with any body color.

Here's orange on green. I'll make you a hell of a deal on them if you have some stock steelies.

Thanks guys! I have added a pic to the left of my truck. It came with the wheels shown and was stock height. I cranked the bars down in front and added CPP 4" rear springs along with new plugs, wires, valve covers, radiator, hoses, battery and cleaned up the wiring. A set of steelies are on the way with whites. I plan on bringing it down some more once the new wheels and tires are on and tucked in. Other than that its a pretty clean and solid truck. I appreciate all of the feedback on colors, I still have a few weeks to make a decision.

Get a quart that matches the roof and grille.

Start on the front bumper and end with the new wheels.

That was a thought but im going to chrome the grill and front bumper and paint the roof another color, maybe a rootbeer color with metal flake so tan or a darker brown wheel color might work.

I think I'd go white like the roof, tie it all together. Black would give it a bit to much Halloween effect, and some one might carve it up. Nice truck!

The roof and grill are a slight silver metallic color.

I'd go creme and two tone the truck too. Maybe the top half the same creme with the bottom orange.

Repaint roof, grill and wheels to this creme.

Light beige, chrome lugs. Chrome front bumper. 2" inch drop in the front. Give it a rake.

I kept thinking black would scream Halloween. The picture changed my mind. I would go black.

Well looks like a toss up between a tan color or black, that's where my mind was at before I started this thread and looking for opinions. Seems like a lot of you are leaning the same way. I appreciate all of the input!

I went with a dark grey and spider caps on my orange 55 GMC with white bumper and top. Still not sure if I like it. Off white or tan may be the way to go...

Hey did you ever get rims painted? Just curious. I'm not digging the gray on mine and may paint them a different color...
