well; for her weight, that's not bad. kinda like Aunt Myrtle trying to do the 440! those cars were built for comfort, not for speed, anyway!
yeah, lower it, hub caps (never hurts to change them out every now and then...(gives it a different look) just don't go too far with it. Less is more in most cases.
jumping on this thread pretty late but only just found it and finished reading through it all. some awesome ideas and some really nice 59's out there. just thought id share a few photos of my australian 59 ranch wagon
Is that a stock Australian Ford front bumper? I never liked the look of the 59 Ford front bumper....Ive been thinkin of giving mine a 60 Olds bumper with 59 Chrysler grille. Have to mock it up and see what I get. I may have to change the hood and headlight arrangement. That front end you have looks real clean! I Like the tube grille
It's actually a 1956 Packard front bumper with the bullets removed and a home made tube grill. No modification done to the car, can be put back to stock tomorrow. Keep us posted about the 60olds bumper and 59 Chrysler grill, interested to see how that turns out. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
